Overview

RAD Medical, LLC ('RAD Medical,' 'we,' or 'our'), the operator of the Virginia application ('Virginia'), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our platform. Virginia is designed to minimize data collection and to keep your conversations private. By using Virginia, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Do Not Collect or Store

  • We do not maintain copies of your conversations, medical history, or personal health information ("PHI").
  • We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other direct identifiers unless you voluntarily provide them (e.g., through a feedback form).
  • We do not use your conversations for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

How Conversations Work

  • All chats with Virginia are processed locally in your browser.
  • To generate responses, your typed inputs are transmitted securely to OpenAI for language processing. We do not send any identifying information along with your inputs.
  • According to OpenAI's published policy, data sent via their API is not used to train their models. For details, see OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

With your consent, we may collect minimal, anonymous usage information to improve Virginia:

  • Visit type selected (e.g., annual, urgent)
  • Session length
  • Export button clicks
  • Error reports (non-identifiable technical information)

This collection is optional and can be disabled at any time in your settings. We do not combine usage data with your conversations.

Data Protection Measures

  • Conversations remain in your browser's memory and are cleared when you close the browser window.
  • No conversation data is stored on our servers.
  • All transmissions to OpenAI use encrypted HTTPS connections.
  • We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.
